review by J. Hofman “Plastics Guy” for AmazonBasics 16 GB Class 10 SDHC Flash Memory Card
Not terrible – not fantastic,
I used H2testw v1.4 to test 4 uncommon cards that I bought on Amazon. To be honest I bought two of each. All 4 tested without errors, but the Amazon Basic cards tested slower on both the reads and writes. Not by much though.

|review by J.F. for AmazonBasics 16 GB Class 10 SDHC Flash Memory Card
Fantastic for taking tons of photos and videos.,
I received this item as a gift since I like taking pictures and HD video. All of that can really eat up space promptly, so I was glad I got a SDHC card.
I’ve used many other amazon basic items like HDMI cables and other electrical cords, and they’ve all served me well, so I didnt worry about a amazon branded SDHC card. For all I know, they’re probably made on the same assembly line as a huge brand name card like SanDisk or PNY.
Enter speeds, they’re quick. My ancient camera used to make me wait 2-3 seconds with taking a photo, and waiting for it to enter on my ancient ancient SanDisk 2GB SD card. Now with using this, instantly, I can shoot more photos and videos without needing to wait for it to enter to the card.
Read speeds are pretty quick, all my pictures and videos showed up surrounded by seconds. My ancient Sandisk would make me sit there for a minute or two while it read each image and made preview icons for them in windows.
I highly recommend it to anyone who’s into photography or just likes to shoot tons of videos/photos. I tend to copy all and save it on my notebook when the card starts to get full, but if you’re the type of person who saves it all on SD cards for a long time, you might opt to get a 8 or 16GB card instead.

|review by Brad Herman “Super Geek” for AmazonBasics 16 GB Class 10 SDHC Flash Memory Card
Get what you pay for I guess,
16GB Amazon Basics class 10. corrupt data. I don’t need much more than that in this review. Maybe we got a terrible card, I don’t know. My wife used it for the first time on her Canon T3i and when she imported the photos (all raw format) she had 5 with severe data corruption. She has by no means had a single photo corrupt from this camera in over 5000 metaphors shot. I took the card, reformatted it, and shot 60 test metaphors. I got 4 that had corrupt data. This is the first non sandisk card I have bought in 5 years, I was lured by the price, 1/2 of what a similar card was from sandisk. I guess the ancient saying is right, you get what you pay for. Sent it back to amazon for a refund and I am getting a class 4 sandisk which is about the same price.
