A wonderful apparatus,
I already owned a ‘power pc’ I built myself for heavy-duty graphic design work. That thing is powerful, bulky and noisy and has a messy tangle of about a dozen wires plugged into it.
This is the complete contrary. Basically I needed a hassle-free budget PC for my parents to do web browsing, work with the Office suite and watch multimedia once in a while. The Compaq All-in-One PCs are perfect, perfect, perfect for those purposes. The only wires you need to deal with are those belonging to the mouse, keyboard and power give. The notebook has integrated Wi-Fi with fantastic signal reception. The screen is above average with fantastic viewing angles, and the apparatus produces nearly no noise.
Even with such a weak Atom processor, it boots to Windows in about a minute or two. As long as you don’t need to work with worrying processing tasks, this notebook will be an absolute pleasure to work with. If you want to play modern games, use powerful resource-intensive professional productivity programs or rip HD video, a single glance at the PC’s specs will suffice to deduce it’s not for you. But for everyday use, the AIO will handle whatever you throw at it and not break a sweat. Highly recommended.

Had to return with only three weeks – screen pixalated – update,
I despise having to enter this because when I first got this I was excited about it.
I have a nice Sony VAIO all in one at work so I bought this for my home office. I use Go to My PC so I sought after an all in one with the same large sized watch as the one I use at work and any other performance issues really did not matter to me.
I was pleasantly surprised when I got this item – pretty peppy for the price and some nice features. I used it with no problems for about three weeks.
But, this past Saturday when I booted it up approximately one third of the screen was blown out – either plain white space or pixalated vertical lines. Evident to me it was a hardware issue but I spent about three hours on the phone with HP’s tech help convincing them – they could not figure out that it was an all in one and kept telling me to adjust the watch. I finally got a excellent online tech who instructed me to send it back as it is below warranty.
But, they did not give me any thought of how long it will take me to get it back or replaced. Needless to say that is disappointing and I know you can get a lemon now and then from anyone for anything. Caution though – since out of eight of us who have reviewed this product for Amazon, two of us have had show issues with it, you might be rolling the dice on this if you buy it. If that is an acceptable level of risk for you and this notebook fits your wants in other areas, you still can’t beat it for the price. Hoping I get it back fixed shortly and I will update the review in view of that.
UPDATE: Hello! I promised that I would come back and update you all – HP sent me a FEDex 2 day prepaid box for me to return the notebook. It took them about a week to fix it and I got it back yesterday. It was below warranty so no charge and it works fine. So I have upgraded my review in view of that – just know that you may be rolling the dice if this is your primary notebook.

Excellent apparatus, fantastic value,
The all-in-one design takes up a minimal footprint on the desk, while not giving up anything on the power and alacrity of the apparatus. This is not a dumbed down version of a excellent apparatus, this is a excellent apparatus. It’s light, quick, and perfect for normal home notebook usage.
