review by Delta Echo for EVGA nVidia GeForce 9500GT 1 GB 2DVI PCI-Express Video Card, 01G-P3-N959-TR
Fantastic Card, Nice Price,
Wow. This video card improved my gaming graphics by a whole ton, 55 FPS average on COD4 with 2x AA 1280×720 resolution. 50 FPS average on COD5 1280×720 no AA. On need for alacrity, 40 FPS average with settings to the max. On Flight Simulator X (which is a real huge hog) 30 FPS on High settings. The video card temperature by no means went up over 70 degrees centigrade, which is very excellent. The card is rated for a very high temperature before breaking. The card came with an overclocking utility, profile settings for each program, and real time video card stats. I fully recommend this if you have a tight budget, but are itching to have better graphics and performance. This card doesn’t need a whole lot of power give and is SUPER QUIET.

Brilliant upgrade from stock cards, value for cost,
I own a Dell Dimension 9150 (3.2 GHz P4 w/4 GB RAM) that was shipped with an ATI X300SE 128MB card, which had one VGA/one DVI out. I use two monitors, an Optiplex Q19wb 16×9 and the OEM Dell 17″ watch.
Installing this card in my x16 PCI Express slot was simple…I powered down the PC, removed the ancient card, and installed the new one. The card ships with two DVI to VGA adapters, since the output for the card is DVI, these adapters are needed for normal VGA operation…something not noted in the product description at my time of buy, and I nearly bought an extra adapter, but I am glad I waited to find them in the box!
I booted the PC, and my system recognized it immediately, and searched for hardware…insert the enclosed disc, and surrounded by a few minutes, the software installed. The secondary screen was not available, and the first screen was skewed on completion…I rebooted, and the GForce software came up upon Win XP SP3 load.
The boundary was extremely simple to use, it guided me through setup for each watch and let me choose settings I needed. I like that fact that it allows me to run each watch independently with uncommon refresh tariff, affect balance and size, while still allowing my secondary watch to be an additional room screen of the first. There are several to choose from, including like peas in a pod, separate or clone.
The hardware acceleration setups are very simple, donation a slider bar to help the user choose from Performance or quality, or a balance. The committed DirectX show video shows you the difference as you adjust the bar.
There is also a setting that allows you to use a test pattern to allow your monitors to self-adjust based on the video output.
Included in the package: Card, S-Video cable, S-Video to component out adapter, two DVI to VGA adapters, Setup disc and small blue-collar
I found this card to be an brilliant and low cost upgrade for my PC from 128MB to 1 GB which allows me to use software such as video editing (Magix Movie Edit Pro 15 Plus in full HD AVCHD mode with small lag), and Google Sketchup with quicker rendering and less system hang.
An brilliant buy, all around efficient card, and simple to install with average notebook skills.

This card is quick reliable and low power.,
Was upgrading from a stock video card from Dell for a Dimension 9200. It worked perfectly, Installed on Linux (Mandriva) as well as Windows XP 64bit without a hitch. Also working with dual monitors is awesome.
