Fantastic webcam at bargain price,
The Kinobo B3 USB webcam is a fantastic webcam, at a bargain price. It has a metal body that makes it look and feel more expensive that it costs. It also features multiple LED lights that can be turned on/off from a switch on the USB cable when needed which is a unique feature compared to other brands. I have used many more expensive webcams in the past from Logitech and Microsoft, but always despised all of the “bloatware” software you had to install with them to get them to work. I was not familiar with the Kinobo brand, but the positive reviews and the “driver less” feature led me to try it, and I have not been disappointed. So far I have used it on a Vista and Windows 7 apparatus, and it worked fantastic for Skype with no extra software to install.

Really pleased with this small workhorse,
I by no means had a webcam before but I had family go out of state so I needed to Skype. With reading reviews, I chose on this webcam because of the high ratings and low price. It had all I needed, and nothing that I didn’t need. It is sturdy, and can be twisted into any angle or configuration due to the 2 swivel ball joints in the metal stand. The built in microphone works fantastic.I also loved the bright LED lights, and how well they worked in a dimly lit room. The picture quality was clear and I was told that the sound was excellent too.
This small webcam is simply plug and play, and required NO configuration. It was immediately available to use with Skype without me doing anything extra. There was a 15 minute time period between opening the box and Skyping with family, and it was only that long because I had to use a mirror and a flashlight to get the USB and microphone plugs connected to the right spots on the back of the notebook tower, which was inaccessible any other way. There is only one small drawback to this webcam, and it might not even affect most users, but the cord is only about 4 or 5 feet long, and I have a bit more distance than that between my tower and my watch. For most users the cord would probably be plenty long.

Fantastic Webcam,
This web cam rocks — it is plug and play which means it doesn’t require loading software on your PC. I use it with Skype. It was simple to set up and has very excellent image quality. It has a blue-collar focus and built in mic. The mic is excellent enough, but not as excellent as a separate ancient mic I already had so I use my ancient mic. The metal stand has a cushioned base. I hang it off my watch even though I dont reckon it was designed for it — having the web cam look down at you looks better than when it looks up at you. I recommend this simple and inexpensive web cam.
