Cool and functional case,
I ported my older notebook (Pentium 4) into this case and instantly the CPU temperature was running 10 degrees C cooler, and the motherboard about 3 degrees C less. I was running 3 fans in the ancient case (2 front 1 back), and with the Thermaltake I needed only the included exhaust fan. I even tested the temps without the exhaust fan, and the MB didn’t get above 42 degrees C.
Thermaltake’s case is well-ventilated, with the entire front slotted, 2 slotted areas up top, 2 bottom, 1 side, and 1 for the exhaust fan in the back. It’s very light, and has rubber feet which prevents sliding and scratching. The front and back covers are simple to remove, but slightly hard to slide back into place. Installation was simple: the drives have plastic clip-ons for locking them into the bays, and you can secure them with screws if desired. It comes with 2 reusable PCI slot covers which I took for another case, but the rest are one-time removable.
The only concerns I have with this case are dust build-up, since there’s only 1 included filter, leaving the top and front potentially vulnerable. If I had rugs in my house I might add some simple air filters. By and large the Thermaltake V4 case is fantastic value for the price, providing brilliant cooling and simple-to-use components.

Fantastic, affordable case with a nice fan.,
The fan is a standard one, but the look of the fan is very nice. When the notebook is running and the fan is spinning, the blue led lights look like miniature flamethrowers! The noise of the fan is a small higher than it wants to be, but it is not very noticeable compared to the CPU fan.
The case itself is honestly sturdy, but the side of the case is too simple to open and too hard to close. If you lose the screw or are frequently opening your case, like I do, you will find this case slightly annoying at times. It is not a deal breaker in my opinion, and for such a low price, it is a excellent deal.
The space usage is pretty excellent. I loved installing the motherboard for the most part, and the drive bays have simple access. The one annoyance I have to point out is the initial install of the DVD drive bay was very confusing. The front of the case has covers on each slot, and it is not very simple to remove a cover. I ruined one of the covers tiresome to get it off!
The top drive bay also gets in the way of the top fan slot, so you cannot use both at the same time. The power give area is at the bottom, which is fantastic for heat dispersal and cord management, but some large power give units may not fit in this box due to the design of the dance in which the unit sits. I barely fit mine into it, and I had to struggle with it for about five minutes.
By and large, all fits honestly well into this case, and the design is honestly nice-looking, and I like the fan. But, there are many small annoyances which may keep me from recommending this case for a hardcore PC gamer or anyone who wants to install extra fans or an extra large power give.

Simple Case!,
No problems whatsoever – If I had one wish, it would be more fans. Other than that, it is nice and simple to get in/out of, installing the mobo, hard drives, and power give were all very easily done. My ancient case was an Antec Mid Tower (ATX) and in comparison, this new case was much simpler to work with.
